New Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Switch Profile Icons Now Available!

After over 18 years of waiting, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is finally here! Coinciding with this anticipated release, Nintendo has announced that there are multiple Metroid Prime 4 Switch profile icons available to collect right now!

There will be four waves of icons that are updated weekly, with Wave 1 active from now until December 10th. Each wave will provide multiple characters, backgrounds, and frames, all themed after Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Up for grabs right now are characters like Samus, Sylux, and a Lamorn, with many more on the way. Each character costs ten My Nintendo Platinum Points, while the backgrounds and frames each cost five Platinum Points.

These aren’t the only Metroid profile icons available right now. If you play Metroid II: Return of Samus or Metroid: Zero Mission on Nintendo Classics before January 5th, 2026, you can earn a set of icons inspired by those games.
