Scout Bot Locations
Here you’ll find the location for every Scout Bot in the game. Scout Bots are incredibly useful, as once you have the Thunder Shot, you can shoot them with an electrical burst which will activate the Bots,sending them up into the air to scan the area for any Expansions you haven’t picked up! Each area has one Scout Bot, and as a reminder, you will require the Thunder Shot to activate them.
Green Fury Scout Bot
Location: Ancient Path
This is the first Bot you’ll encounter, and it’s in plain sight in the middle of the room.
Volt Forge Scout Bot
Location: Tower 2 Generator
Once you exit the Morph Ball Chute (and after clearing away the Maintenance Tanks), go to the left extension. You’ll see it on the edge of the platform next to the Spider Ball Tracks.
Ice Belt Scout Bot
Location: Snowfield
As you reach the end of the downhill slope, look to your right. The Bot is in front of a snow-covered Lamorn vehicle.
Flare Pool Scout Bot
Location: Lava Lake Bridge
After crossing the lake, drive over to the right shore, exit Vi-O-La, and hop over the bollards to find this Bot. (If you have the Psychic Spider Ball, grab the Shot Expansion above you while you’re here)
Great Mines Scout Bot
Location: Main Shaft – Level 3
Head east towards Transit Tunnel E and then immediately look to your left as you exit the elevator.
Sol Valley Scout Bot
Location: Directly north of the Volt Forge entrance. (R2, Map)
Take a left as you leave the Volt Forge gate, and you’ll see a small plateau across the gap. Scan the Psychic Platforms nearby to materialize them, and then hop up to reach the Bot.
