Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Is Out Now! Check Out the Official Launch Trailer!

Eighteen long years after the release of the last Prime title, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has finally, finally hit store shelves. And like many of us here at Omega Metroid, we’re sure you’ll be playing the game nonstop this weekend. If you’re looking for one last dose of hype before you head off to Viewros, Nintendo of America just released an appropriately cinematic launch trailer for your viewing pleasure.

In this new trailer, Nintendo invites players to “step into the suit of Samus Aran” and “fight alongside new allies to take on the threats and challenges of Viewros to find a way home.” Viewers are treated to a montage of gameplay and cutscene clips that highlights many of the new mechanics and features in Metroid Prime 4, including the psychic abilities, the Federation support cast, and the Vi-O-La motorbike.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is available now on both Switch and Switch 2.
