Volunteer
Omega Metroid is a community of Metroid fans ran and operated entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers. Since launching our website in 2021, we have welcomed Metroid fans from all over the world who have helped us grow Omega Metroid into one of the premiere destinations on the web for fans to enjoy!
Most volunteers, understandably, cannot dedicate an infinite amount of time to this role, so we’re always looking for new volunteers to join Team Omega!
Before you apply, please know that:
- As stated, this is a volunteer position, meaning that this is not a paid position.
- You must be 18 years old.
- Omega Metroid uses Discord for our staff text chats and regularly have voice chats. All team members will be required to use Discord.
- Writing
If there is a position that you believe you can contribute in that is not listed above, please give a detailed description of what your vision for that position is and why you think it would add value to the website.
A friendly reminder to proofread all writing samples submitted – applications with multiple typos will not be considered.

Send an email to andy (at) omegametroid (dot) com with your name and position you are interested in volunteering for in the subject, and your application in the body. Your application should include:
- Your name
- Your general location (North American, Europe, Asia, etc. based – we use this to determine meeting schedules)
- Your age (18 years old minimum)
- Discord username
- The position you’re interested in applying for and why you you think you’d be a great fit (include examples of your work if applicable)
