Metroid Prime Hunters Walkthrough – Energy Tanks
Here you’ll find the location for every Energy Tank in Metroid Prime Hunters, as well as detailed explanations on how to get them and what power-ups you’ll need to acquire them!
Energy Tank #1
Location: Data Shrine 01, Celestial Archives (First visit)
Requirements: Morph Ball
After grabbing Cartograph Artifact #1A, exit into the hallway and press forward. At the end, you’ll see a Morph Ball tunnel with some energy orbs inviting you to explore. Morph down and roll through the trail of orbs to find ENERGY TANK #1 at the end.
Energy Tank #2
Location: Echo Hall, Alinos (First visit)
Requirements: Morph Ball
After grabbing the first Shield Key, proceed through the unsealed door and keep rolling. Take the second path to your right and you’ll roll right into ENERGY TANK #2.
Energy Tank #3
Location: Sic Transit, Arcterra (First Visit)
Requirements: Morph Ball, Bombs
After releasing all six spectral locks in the room after your encounter with Noxus and Trace, the room to Attameter Artifact #4A will open up. After grabbing it, morph down and roll through a tunnel on the other side of the room. You’ll land on a small circular platform which will lift you up close to the tank. Lay a bomb at the top, and you’ll go shooting right into ENERGY TANK #3!
Energy Tank #4
Location: Frost Labyrinth, Arcterra (First visit)
Requirements: Morph Ball
Make your way through the Morph Ball maze and get yourself to the upper righthand portion of the map. You’ll need to roll past a few lasers, but once you do, you’ll roll right into ENERGY TANK #4!
Energy Tank #5
Location: New Arrival Registration, Celestial Archives (Second visit)
Requirements: None
Navigate through the rising and falling platforms until you reach another circular room with a single rising platform and one that’s broken, laying ajar in front of a ledge sticking out from the wall. That ledge from the wall will have ENERGY TANK #5, so jump over and claim it!
Energy Tank #6
Location: Council Chamber, Alinos (Second Visit)
Requirements: Magmaul
Immediately after defeating the Fire Spawn and acquiring the Magmaul, shoot the orange force field at the top of the stairway. Proceed up the stairs and you’ll walk directly into ENERGY TANK #6!
Energy Tank #7
Location: Oubliette
Requirements: Morph Ball
After you take the second portal to warp into the room directly before Gorea, walk forward a bit and you’ll see a Morph Ball tunnel on your right near the entrance. Roll through and follow the tunnel until you come out on a higher ledge. You’ll see a floating platform with a portal on it. Jump into the portal and you’ll be warped to a small room where ENERGY TANK #7 will be waiting for you.
