Alien: Isolation 2 Announced During Summer Game Fest 2026

If you’re a fan of the long-running franchise Alien, then we have some good news for you! Summer Game Fest 2026 just revealed a sequel to the 2014 critically-acclaimed first-person horror Metroidvania Alien: Isolation.

The trailer only shows snippets of gameplay and cutscenes, but if you have played the first game, you can be sure that the follow-up will be full of anxiety-inducing moments of terror as you try to navigate the world of Alien and avoid the infamous Xenomorph. While no release date was given, the trailer made sure to let fans know they will be able to pick this game up on any of the “Big 3” consoles (Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2) as well as from Steam in general.
