Nintendo Direct Announced for the 8th, Will Focus on Games in the First Half of 2023

Nintendo has announced on their Twitter page that they are releasing a Nintendo Direct on February 8, at 2 PM PT (5 PM EST). This Direct is going to focus on revealing new titles and new info for announced titles in the first half of 2023. It will be available to watch live at Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels. The stream is expected to last approximately 40 minutes

What can we expect from the Direct? Well, it’s likely we’ll see The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom get a spotlight. I also predict we’ll see Splatoon 3 news, likely some info about a new update. There have also been rumblings that Advance Wars: Re-Boot Camp will finally see the light of day with a new release date. As far as Metroid is concerned, I do think it’s still too early for a Metroid Prime 4 trailer, but perhaps we will get a slight teaser? Or, perhaps the long rumored Metroid Prime Remake? Well, I can’t wait to find out! For more Direct predictions, you may also want to check out Omega Metroid’s previous predictions.

What about you? Are you excited for the Direct? What do you think will show up? Let us know in the comments below!
