New Metroid Merchandise Lands on the Nintendo Store!
Metroid’s presence on the Nintendo Store has literally doubled! Five pieces of merchandise, including three previously only available in Japan, are now available to order online. Many of these are actually practical items instead of just showpieces, making them a great way to rep your Metroid dedication in your daily life!
The two newest items are the Metroid Duffel Bag and Metroid Sticker Set of 8. The Duffel Bag has a sleek red and gold exterior, galaxy print interior liner, zipper pulls with 8-bit Metroid designs, metal feet, and even custom stitching that mimics the lines of the Power Suit! That’s some serious attention to detail, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The bag carries a retail price of $99.99.
Meanwhile, the Sticker Set is exactly what it says: eight stickers of Samus Aran’s designs throughout the series, from the original game all the way up to Prime 4. (although, curiously, the display image only features 7 designs) Each sticker is about 3’’ tall, and has a convenient pull tab so you don’t have to fuss with peeling it off the base for heaven-knows-how-long. The set costs a thriftier $12.99.
Along with those new products, the Nintendo Store has three items that were previously exclusive to Japan! The Metroid Silicon Tray lets you make eight Metroid-shaped ice (or jelly) cubes for $14.99. The Metroid Tech Accessory Case, priced at $29.99, comes with ample space and mesh pockets to store cables, chargers, and other accessories. And finally, the Metroid: Metroid 3D Keychain (hey, we didn’t name it) is an adorable model of a baby Metroid with a small magnet inside, marked at $16.99.
Lastly, if you find yourself in San Francisco or New York City, stop by the physical Nintendo Store there to find a Samus Arm Cannon Plush! It’s a soft replica of the Arm Cannon that you can “wear” on your arm, and take a cozy nap at the same time! Sadly, it’s not available for official purchase online. The Samus/Chozo cups shown in this official Twitter post don’t seem to be available on the online Nintendo Store, either.
Previous Metroid items, including the My Nintendo rewards and a pullover hoodie, are still available online as well. Shipping is free for orders over $50, so if you’ve been waiting to pick up any of those goodies, now’s definitely a great time to grab them and some more!

All of these items (except for the Arm Cannon Plush) are available at the online Nintendo Store. We’ll update you if the Arm Cannon Plush becomes available elsewhere.
