Scalpers Beware! Nintendo Has More Physical Copies of Metroid Prime Remastered On The Way
Metroid Prime Remastered has been a undeniable hit on the Nintendo Switch since it dropped the eShop this month. While it’s readily available digitally, many fans understandably want to get their hands on a physical copy of Metroid Prime Remastered. That’s been easier said than done.
Thankfully, Nintendo is committed to restocking those shelves. In an update earlier today to Nintendo Life, Nintendo confirmed that stores will be supplied with more units:
We will do everything we can to meet the strong demand for the product. Please continue to check with major retailers for availability. If the Metroid Prime Remastered game sells out at various retail locations in the U.S., we will work to provide more units as soon as possible.
If you’re worried about getting a physical copy of your own, you can rest easy. Nintendo’s got your back. It might just take a little more time.
Whether by supply chain or distribution issues, or simply because Nintendo didn’t expect the demand to be so high, Metroid Prime Remastered has been difficult to get physically for many fans. The game is on fire, as demand has exponentially surpassed the available supply thanks to high praise, stellar reviews, word of mouth, and brand confidence in the Metroid Prime series.
Unsurprisingly, scalpers have gotten into the mix, getting their hands on any copy they can possibly find. You can easily find copies of Metroid Prime Remastered going for close to $100 USD, if not more, on online auction sites like eBay.
But, with a little patience, you can avoid the scalpers and get your physical copy of Metroid Prime Remastered soon enough!
