Metroid Ravenous amiibo Announced!

 

The first is Samus in her Dread Suit posing with what we can assume is Metroid energy emanating from her hand. This one will run you $24.99 USD. Nintendo’s Amiibo website has included some small blurbs around each amiibo, the first is:

 

 

The second amiibo available for regular purchase is a large Chozo statue, sitting in its famous open-handed position awaiting activation. It is listed at $44.99 USD and the website details are as follows:

“In the Metroid series of games, the Chozo are a highly intelligent, peaceful, and technologically advanced bird-like species. These sentinel statues depicting their likeness offer secrets and powers Samus can use to upgrade her suit.

This amiibo figure is larger than standard size, and features the Chozo Statue in its iconic pose with knees raised and its palms extended forward.”

Finally, the last new amiibo announced is only available through purchasing the Metroid Ravenous Special Edition ($119.99 USD). It features our heroine in her Metroid Suit posing with a huge green energy blade in place of her usual arm cannon. If you are a fan of sick-looking collectibles then I suggest you preorder the Special Edition as soon as you can so you don’t miss out on this one! The website quote is:

“Crash-landed on a foreign moon, surrounded by foes, Samus knows one thing: it’s eat or be eaten. She will need to unleash her newly awakened Metroid instincts to devour her enemies, and tap into the overwhelming power of her Metroid Suit, to escape with her life.”
