Metroid Prime 4: Beyond In-Store Demos Open Across North America
Various sources from across the internet are reporting that a Metroid Prime 4: Beyond demo is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 kiosks in various retail locations across North America. Reports indicate that the demo, which covers about 20 minutes of the game’s prologue, is definitely available in participating Target and Walmart locations. If we assume that it is available on all in-store Switch 2 kiosks, then you’ll be able find the demo at participating GameStop and Best Buy locations as well.
Those who have played this Metroid Prime 4: Beyond demo claim that it is playable for only 20 minutes and covers the earliest moments of the game. It is assumed that this demo is the same one that was playable at this summer’s Gamescom.
According to Nintendo’s latest financial report, the company is ramping up its efforts to further promote new releases with in-store kiosks. The initiative aims to create more “dedicated Nintendo spaces… in cooperation with retailers” as a way to emphasize “consumer touchpoints.” Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is just the latest new release to receive a demo at Nintendo kiosks this year, following the lead of games like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and Donkey Kong Bananza.
