New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Mod Lets You Fight in Samus’s Metroid Prime Remastered Suits!
The modding scene for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is still active today even 2 years since the last update. One of the most popular modding categories for the game is alternate costumes, as there are so many potential choices for each character that were never implemented into the final release. Yesterday, a new alternate costume mod was released through GameBanana that will surely get Metroid fans excited!
From the modding group P*rple™ Enjoyers, this mod replaces 3 of Samus’s current Metroid: Other M inspired costume slots with the Varia, Gravity and Phazon Suits from Metroid Prime Remastered. User LN_310 is credited as the main author for importing, rigging and rendering the models in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Meanwhile Err0 Will is given a special thanks credit for ripping the models themselves from Metroid Prime Remastered along with Messyproduct for being a “cool guy”. This is LN_310’s first project of “Modtober”, a self-imposed challenge to release one new mod for every single day during the month of October this year.
You can download the “Samus (Metroid Prime Remastered)” mod for free right here! You’ll need to use ARCropolis to import the mod into the game as well as either a modded Nintendo Switch or an emulator compatible with ARCropolis along with your own legally dumped copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The most popular Nintendo Switch emulator compatible with ARCropolis is Ryujinx.
