Proactive interviewer Kiwi Talkz sat down with the Lead Technical Engineer on the Metroid Prime Trilogy, Jack Mathews! As Jack’s position at Retro would indicate, lots of technical details behind the Metroid Prime Trilogy are discussed, such as how Metroid Prime maintained a consistent 60 fps and how the R.U.D.E. Engine Retro used to make the Prime Trilogy was created. The interview also went beyond the games and touched upon how Jack feels that Nintendo is still the gold standard for video game development as well as some of what Jack has done after leaving Retro Studios.
