Episode 158 – Lacey Johnson and Synamax Talk Omega Metroid’s New Theme Song and Metroid Music!
It’s a new era of the podcast! We’re proud to announce our new theme song, which you can download for free here, is available everywhere! The track, which was written by Doominal and arranged by our friend Synamax, with some shredding guitar solo’s by Lacey Johnson, sounds like something right out of Metroid Prime 4, so we had Max and Lacey join us to talk about the origins of the track, what tweaks and techniques they used to take it to the next level, and Doom’s inspiration for what he wanted the track to sound like! We also ask them what they thought of the Metroid Dread OST, what Metroid song needs to come back, and what their hopes are for Metroid Prime 4!
All this, PLUS an announcement – we’ll be LIVE STREAMING (most) of our episodes on our YouTube channel going forward, so make sure you’re subbed to see the episodes as they happen!
