Episode 230 – Alien In Review: A New Generation Begins in Alien: Romulus!

One of our most anticipated episodes of the year is finally here! Alien in Review is BACK to review the newest entry in the series: Fede Alvarez’s Alien: Romulus! The newest Alien movie takes place in between Alien and Aliens, which is fitting as it strikes a perfect tone between the two masterpieces. Andy is joined once again by Gooey Fame to discuss Romulus in great detail! We go over the film’s new cast of characters, who we liked and hope to see return, how the effects and vibe came off, what the best kills of the movie were, the new lore added to the franchise, Romulus’s connections to the other entries, how this movie impacts the world of Alien going forward, and our overall review of the film! The first half is spoiler free, whereas the second half is filled with spoilers! We give a big spoiler warning, but listener beware! We also talk a little Alien: Earth, the new Hulu series being released next year and what we’re hoping to see!
