Episode 193 – Haiku, The Robot: Inspired By Metroid
Inspired By Metroid returns, this time, to a post apocalyptic world where humanity is no more and only robots remain! We’re playing Haiku, The Robot, a Game-Boy-Color-influenced Metroidvania from developer Mister Morris games and giving our thoughts on the games world, story, boss fights, and so much more! Playing as the cute robot Haiku, you could be the answer to a mysterious virus that’s plagued the planet for years. Does Haiku, The Robot rise above and carve out a place for itself among the best Metroidvania’s available on the Switch, or does the games virus prove to be its undoing? Come hang out with us to find out!
All this, PLUS some Twilight talk and getting ready for next week’s Mapping Metroid when we finally journey to Samus Returns’ SR388!
PLEASE NOTE – We had an audio snafu in this episode with Andy’s mic settings, so unfortunately his voice sounds a bit robotic (fitting!), so our sincerest apologies for this! The issue has been fixed, so if you can put up it for this week, we’d really appreciate it!
