Our annual September Direct came and went, and while there was some quality stuff shown, it will likely be remembered as fairly underwhelming. The gang get together to discuss the not-unexpected-but-still-disappointing absence of Metroid Prime’s Echoes and Corruption and what the calibre of games shown could mean for the Switch 2’s reveal. We also get into the Direct itself and talk about the numerous Mario titles and why there are so many, the best way to make a new F-Zero game and what it should be about, Mario Kart’s lacklustre Booster Pass and what we would do instead, the greatness of The Thousand Year Door, and so much more!
