Check Out All of Our Metroid Prime Remastered Content So Far!

It’s been almost two months since Metroid Prime Remastered launched worldwide for the Nintendo Switch. Time flies when your having fun and scanning stuff!

Needless to say, we’ve spent a lot of time covering Metroid Prime Remastered and developing content around the game. If you’re just joining us on your Metroid adventure, or maybe if Metroid Prime Remastered is your first Metroid game entirely, you might not have caught everything we’ve dropped for MPR.

As we exit the “launch window” territory of Metroid Prime Remastered’s debut, we thought it’d be a good idea to compile all the Metroid Prime Remastered content and coverage we’ve released since the game dropped last month.

If you’re looking for more Metroid Prime Remastered to dig into, this is the place to be!

Podcast Episodes

This is our bread and butter. We churned out a month’s worth of weekly podcast content for Metroid fans out there, plus the Golden Age episode which isn’t entirely about Metroid Prime Remastered but still includes some MPR discussion. With all five episodes, that’s 7 hours and 36 minutes of Metroid podcastin’ for you to chow down on. If you subtract episode 156, that’s still 5 hours and 35 minutes of pure Metroid Prime Remastered podcast content. Have you listened to all five episodes yet?

In episodes 152-154, we go from initial impressions to detailed thoughts on Metroid Prime Remastered. And episode 155 has the distinct honor of being the first Metroid Prime-related Mapping Metroid episode to draw from Metroid Prime Remastered rather than only the original Gamecube or Trilogy versions.

Episode 152 – Metroid Prime Remastered: Our Thoughts, Reactions, and Initial Impressions!

Episode 153 – Metroid Prime Remastered Deep Dive!

Episode 154 – Metroid Mailbag! Prime Remastered and More!

Episode 155 – Chozo Ruins: Mapping Metroid

Episode 156 – Are We In A New Golden Age for Metroid?

Metroid Musings

For our Metroid Musings, we asked you about your favorite area in the game, and where we go from here. Who knows if we’ll ever get Prime 2 and Prime 3 remastered, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed!

Articles

Check out these pieces on Metroid Prime Remastered that’ll help you get all the collectibles you need in-game and in real life. I was happy to see a lot of players finding my Missable Scans guide pretty helpful! Hope you all got your 100% files!

Also, as of this writing, you should still be able to enter the MPR sweepstakes (it closes April 4th, 2023, so if you’re reading this past this date, sorry and also hello from the past!) and it looks like the big pin set is still available on My Nintendo. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the NSO icons or the statue sweepstakes from the Nintendo Store UK.

Plus, let us know what you think about these hypothetical improvements to the Meta Ridley boss fight. Are you on board? Or should Ridley just pick up the pace a little bit?

Announcement

It’s interesting to go back and see the calm before the storm, so to speak. We reported on February 7th that a Nintendo Direct was announced for the following day on February 8th. While GameWyrm wasn’t confident that we’d get a Metroid Prime 4 trailer, he did think we might get a teaser for that or “perhaps the long rumored Metroid Prime Remake.” We certainly got that and then some, to say the least!
